Roses & Chocolate is an Egyptian drama inspired by a true story, an intense blend of love, power, and psychological conflict that ultimately ends in murder. The opening title had to communicate that contradiction: something that looks romantic on the surface, yet feels controlled, dangerous, and inevitable underneath. That’s why the concept is built around red threads wrapping the characters and surrounding symbolic objects—threads that behave like a puppeteer’s strings, suggesting manipulation, obsession, and invisible control. From the series title, we introduced floating roses as a seductive visual layer: beautiful, soft, and poetic at first glance, yet gradually turning into a threatening presence, like love that becomes a trap.
